Customs

Facilitating secure and efficient movement of goods across borders while enforcing trade regulations.

The Customs Division of the Customs & Tax Administration safeguards the nation’s borders while facilitating trade. Its officers monitor and inspect imports and exports, collect customs duties, and enforce regulations against smuggling and undeclared goods. Customs also plays a vital role in protecting public health and safety by restricting prohibited goods and ensuring compliance with international trade agreements. At the same time, it supports legitimate trade, facilitating the secure and efficient movement of goods across FSM borders.
