The “Strengthening Climate Resilience of Secondary Roads” (SCORE) project focuses on strategic secondary roads identified through a robust prioritization process. These roads support critical primary routes and connect communities to vital infrastructure and economic activity.
SCORE works alongside the “Prioritized Road Investment and Management Enhancements” (PRIME) project and is part of The Pacific Climate Resilient Transport Program (PCRTP), a major regional initiative launched by the World Bank in 2017 to help Pacific Island countries build resilience to climate change and natural disasters in their transport infrastructure.
